Foundation Program
The Text: Universal Compassion
Class times: Sunday and Wednesday • 7:00pm - 9:00pm
On November 16th at 7pm we will begin our in-depth study of Universal Compassion. The first class is open to all, free of charge and will also contain an introductory talk about the Foundation Program. If you have been attending General Program classes at KMC-WA, joining Foundation Program can help deepen your practical experience of Buddha’s Teachings.
The heart of Buddha’s teachings is unconditional love and compassion. In this inspired explanation of the popular Buddhist poem Training the Mind in Seven Points, Geshe Kelsang reveals powerful and far-reaching methods for us to develop these altruistic states. Also included is a practical and uplifting explanation of how we can transform our day-to-day living into opportunities for personal and spiritual development. By pointing the way to an unchanging freedom and happiness, this immensely readable book challenges us to grow, and will have a remarkable impact on our life.
